Innovations

The computing innovation that had the most impact on my life was a Projector. The projector is a tool I use almost every day and allows me to project an image clearly on any flat surface. The down side to a projector is that you need a large flat wall otherwise you will have no place to project your image. I chose a projector because I love watching movies and tv shows and a projector is the best way to watch with its large screen and perfect picture.

The innovation that my mom chose is a remote car starter. My mom chose this innovation because it is very useful in the winter when you don't want to go outside in the cold to start your car and you save time not having to wait for it to warm up. As soon as you start the car the heated seats and the heat in the car come on. The only down side is that once you start the auto start feature you have ten minutes to start the car with the key otherwise the car shuts off.

These two innovations are hard to compare although considering that you need a flat surface to use the projector and a remote car starter can be installed in any vehicle then the remote car starter is probably the better innovation.

Keurig Machine

The Keurig is a machine that I use on a regular basis. I use it to drink many hot beverages including coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. This computer makes the task of boiling water and pressing it through coffee tea or coco grinds quick and simple. It has a container for water on the side or on the back depending on the model. With buttons for small, medium, or large beverages and a cartridge for the "K cups" which are plastic cups with coffee grinds inside. The machine sends a different amount of hot water through the K cup and into your mug depending on what size button you press.
